A Chartered Accountant (CA(Z)), he is a leading specialist in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) and Non-Profit Accounting Standard (INPAS), with extensive experience advising both private and public sector entities, including listed companies locally and internationally.
He has built a reputation as a trusted advisor and facilitator, supporting organisations in navigating complex financial reporting challenges, regulatory requirements, and evolving business environments. Beyond client advisory, Ackson has made meaningful contributions to capacity building and thought leadership within the profession. He previously lectured Financial Accounting and Reporting, helping shape the next generation of finance professionals. He also remains actively involved in the profession through ICAZ, where he serves on the Continuous Professional Development and Accounting Procedures Committees.
